Alyse offers a weekly music class for parent, baby and toddler (age 0-3), as well as individual and group piano classes for age 3 to adult, beginners to advanced. She teaches a well rounded curriculum that includes repertoire (from classical to pop, jazz, latin and blues), technique, interpretation, improvisation, song-writing, notation, chord and note reading, practice habits, ear training, music theory (both classical and jazz) and history. Students participate in Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory The Achievement Program, Music Teacher Association of California Certificate of Merit and Composer's Today Evaluations, Southern California Junior Bach Festival, Suzuki Music Association piano graduations and summer institutes, studio recitals, and community service performances. Various special needs students are welcome, including learning-disabled children and adults with physical disabilities.
